About the event
Forest Minds and Bush to Bowl invite you to join us on a unique experience to explore Aboriginal Culture.
The walk will start at North Narrabeen Headland. We will walk the beach and discuss the native plants on-country. You are invited to a yearning circle and talk about the significance of being on country and belonging to the country.
After the nature immersion walk, we will be visiting the Native Plant Nursery at Terry Hills (where the Bush to Bowl locates) for a native bush tea tasting with a yummy bliss balls !
We will invite you to discover and talk about native plants and find out what they are used for/what they can be used in.
Finish the event by trying some bush tucker depending on what they have at the Nursery in October !
This is the first collaboration event of Forest Minds with Bush to Bowl, 100% Aboriginal owned company in Terry Hills, NSW.

Free Shinrin-yoku Walk & Tree Planting

What better way to celebrate the International Day of Forests, than taking a mindful, immersive walk, guided by Mayu Kataoka! You will also have the opportunity to plant a tree, with the support of the North Sydney Bushcare team. Meet at Primrose Park at 9am and start with a tree planting together, followed by a Shinrin-yoku walk in the park with Mayu.
This is a collaboration event with North Sydney Community Centre.
